Mohamed Marbouh Asks: 'Unsupported recursion for reference to type alias' when declaring AnyPublisher with alias type
Got my
and its implementation:
But I'm getting an error that says "Unsupported recursion for reference to type alias 'State' of type 'MyViewModel'".
Any idea what that means?
Got my
ViewModel
interface and Loadable
state enum:
Code:
protocol ViewModel {
associatedtype State: Equatable
var state: AnyPublisher<State, Error> { get }
}
enum Loadable<T> {
case loading
case success(T)
case failure(Error)
}
and its implementation:
Code:
final class MyViewModel: ViewModel {
typealias State = Loadable<Content>
struct Content: Equatable {
let ids: [Int]
}
var state: AnyPublisher<State, Error> { // <= error is here
stateRelay.eraseToAnyPublisher()
}
private let stateRelay: PassthroughSubject<State, Error> = .init()
}
But I'm getting an error that says "Unsupported recursion for reference to type alias 'State' of type 'MyViewModel'".
Any idea what that means?
